About Me
I have over twenty years of progressive accounting experience managing the development of full functioning finance teams with as many as 9 direct reports. I get a sense of pride in mentoring and seeing an employee get the 'ah-ha' moment when something finally clicks.
I began my career working on-site doing bookkeeping work for a commercial construction company. I discovered that I love working with numbers and with people, so I changed my major from Journalism to Accounting. I completed my bachelor's degree at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. I continued my education with Master's level classes in both Accounting and Secondary Education at the University of Phoenix while working full time and marathon training.

I love what I do largely because I find fulfillment in helping others succeed in making their business dreams become reality, and not letting financial complexity hold them back.
I moved to Southern California from Michigan in 2015. I decided to move where the sun shone and snow did not fall. I am so happy I made the decision to relocate to this environment. My proximity to the ocean is calming and gives me a sense of joy and balance.
I love ocean swims, yoga, practicing good nutrition, nature filled trail runs and revitalizing naps.
